INTEGRATION

PXGate integration docs

Connect through the standard PXGate gateway with the tools you already use. Start with HTTP(S), SOCKS5 or copy a ready-made example for your programming language.

Default gatewayproxy.pxgate.xyz
HTTP / HTTPS3128
SOCKS51080

QUICKSTART

Make your first request

Use the proxy username and visible password from your PXGate dashboard. Targeting modifiers are appended to the password.

HTTP / HTTPS · cURL
curl -x http://proxy.pxgate.xyz:3128 \
  -U 'USERNAME:PASSWORD_type-residential_country-nl_asn-112' \
  https://api.ipify.org
SOCKS5 · cURL
curl --socks5-hostname proxy.pxgate.xyz:1080 \
  --proxy-user 'USERNAME:PASSWORD_type-residential_country-nl_asn-112' \
  https://api.ipify.org

LANGUAGE EXAMPLES

Use PXGate from your application

These examples use HTTP proxying through proxy.pxgate.xyz:3128. Replace the placeholder credentials with the credential shown in your PXGate dashboard.

cURL
curl -x http://proxy.pxgate.xyz:3128 \
  -U 'USERNAME:PASSWORD_type-residential_country-nl' \
  https://api.ipify.org
Python · requests
import requests

proxy = "http://USERNAME:PASSWORD_type-residential_country-nl@proxy.pxgate.xyz:3128"
proxies = {
    "http": proxy,
    "https": proxy,
}

response = requests.get(
    "https://api.ipify.org",
    proxies=proxies,
    timeout=30,
)
print(response.text)
Node.js · undici
import { ProxyAgent, fetch } from "undici";

const proxy = new ProxyAgent(
  "http://USERNAME:PASSWORD_type-residential_country-nl@proxy.pxgate.xyz:3128"
);

const response = await fetch("https://api.ipify.org", {
  dispatcher: proxy,
});

console.log(await response.text());

Install dependency: npm install undici

C# · HttpClient
using System.Net;

var proxy = new WebProxy("http://proxy.pxgate.xyz:3128")
{
    Credentials = new NetworkCredential(
        "USERNAME",
        "PASSWORD_type-residential_country-nl"
    )
};

var handler = new HttpClientHandler
{
    Proxy = proxy,
    UseProxy = true
};

using var client = new HttpClient(handler);
var result = await client.GetStringAsync("https://api.ipify.org");
Console.WriteLine(result);

TARGETING

Password modifiers

Add one or more modifiers to the proxy password. The builder in the dashboard generates these automatically from live inventory.

_type-residentialResidential, mobile or hosting class
_country-nlCountry code
_region-zuid-hollandState / region
_city-rotterdamCity
_asn-112Exact ASN
_isp-provider-nameISP / provider
_maxlatency-500Maximum exit latency in ms
Combined example
USERNAME:PASSWORD_type-residential_country-nl_city-rotterdam_asn-112_maxlatency-500

SESSIONS

Rotating and sticky routing

Rotating

Omit a session ID. Each new connection can be routed to another eligible exit matching the selected filters.

PASSWORD_type-residential_country-nl

Sticky

Add a session ID and lifetime when a workflow needs the same eligible exit for a period of time.

PASSWORD_type-residential_country-nl_session-checkout_lifetime-30m

PROTOCOLS

HTTP(S) and SOCKS5

HTTP / HTTPS proxy

Use the HTTP listener for normal HTTP proxy requests. HTTPS clients automatically use the CONNECT method through the same gateway.

proxy.pxgate.xyz:3128

SOCKS5

Use SOCKS5 when your application supports SOCKS directly. Remote DNS is supported by clients using SOCKS5 hostname resolution.

proxy.pxgate.xyz:1080

AUTHENTICATION

Credentials or IPv4 whitelist

PXGate provisions the proxy username automatically. The password remains visible in the dashboard and can be rotated. You can also add trusted IPv4 addresses/CIDRs to your whitelist when you need passwordless proxy authentication from known sources.

Static IP access is account-controlled.Rotating and sticky endpoints are available normally. If PXGate admin enables static access for your customer account, the dashboard also exposes exact exit-IP generation using the _ip-x.x.x.x selector.
